About the Panels

A Panel is a group of people that talk about important ideas. |

We are creating 2 Panels that will give advice on the data asset. |
|
|
People on a Panel will provide support to the National Disability Data Asset Council. We call it the Council. |
|
|
The Council will make sure people are using the data asset in the right way. |
|
One of the Panels is the Disability Data Development Scoping Panel. |

Scoping is when you look into an idea to:

The other Panel is the Disability-informed Ethical Oversight Panel. |
|
|
Being ethical is about doing the right thing and having strong values. |
|
|

The Disability Data Development Scoping Panel
|
This Panel will give ideas for what other Panels could work on until the end of 2025. |
For example, this Panel could give ideas about: |

Then they will write a report about these ideas. |

The Panel will have 10 members, including: |

The Disability-informed Ethical Oversight Panel
|
This Panel will look at how people plan to use data in the data asset. The data will be about people with disability. |
|
This Panel will look at plans and tell us if they think these plans are ethical. |
