How will we all work together?

Working with other plans and agreements

A person with disability holding up their hand, a First Nations person holding up their hand, and a bunch of young children hugging each other.

Our Plan will work with other government plans for:

  • people with disability
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
  • children and young people.

An icon of two shaking hands, and the world with an arrow circling it.

Our Plan will also work with agreements between lots of countries around the world.

An icon of a rainbow thought bubble, an icon of violence with a circle and line through it, and an icon of two young people with a tick above them.

This includes agreements about:

  • gender equality
  • ending violence against women
  • keeping children safe.

Collecting information about violence

A violence icon, with a speech bubble nearby with a question mark on it.

We know it’s important to collect information about:

  • why violence happens
  • who it affects
  • how to help people who experience it.

A person writing down what someone is telling them.

We want to collect more information about violence.

And we want to work with other governments and organisations to do this.

A person pointing at a clipboard with a tick on it. Above is an information icon.

We can use this information to make sure we are achieving our goals.

And to know about new challenges.

A woman giving a thumbs up. Above is a violence icon, with a circle and line through it

This information will help us:

  • make sure our Plan works well
  • end violence against women and children.
